Chantelle told me that I had to get blogging since my life is actually interesting now. Lol. Sooo I guess first things, first!
I AM ENGAGED!!!
Yep. As of my last visit, Steen had twenty or so days left on his mission. Well, good news is, he came home. He was reallllllllly awkward for about a week and a half (with me. It was longer for everyone else), luckily we had lots of fun stuff planned to get him back into the swing of things. We went to Bear Lake with his family, and spent tons of time with our friends. He kissed me his second day home. It was really funny because the night before, he was telling his friends that he wasn't going to kiss me for at least five weeks (in Spanish, he didn't know I could understand). So, I guess we pretty much starting "dating" again at that point. On March 30th, we went ring shopping. I found the ring I wanted, but we weren't ready to purchase it because Steen wanted to wait a little while longer. That night, we were at his house getting ready to read scriptures, and out of the blue- he proposed. He didn't have a ring and he told me that he'd had a better plan for later... but the moment was right, and he wanted to propose then. We, of course, are so happy. It was funny calling the family and telling everyone the news... we did it on April 1st, so everyone thought it was an April Fools joke.
There was a small confusion at the jewelers so I still haven't gotten my ring, but Steen was so sweet and bought me a "temporary" that is holding my diamond until the setting is finished. I was lucky to have two proposals. To give me the ring, he took me to the Jordan River Temple (where we are getting married) and made me believe we were just checking out the grounds looking for good photo ops. He took me over to one of the benches, took out a piece of paper, and started reading a list of all the things he loves about me. Then he gave me the ring and popped the question... again. I said yes... again. ;)
We are getting married Saturday, September 12th in the Jordan River Temple. It's been crazy getting everything planned, but we're almost finished. The biggest thing to do is dress shopping! And I'm excited for that!! So... yeah. Cool. Oh, this is a picture of my ring, it should be here in about 5 weeks.

Um, the next awesome bit of news is HEATHER'S PREGNANT!! She is due December 10th, so she is gonna be cute and prego at the wedding. We are so happy for Jason and Heather. If my opinion counts, I hope it's a girl. :) Here is a pic of the baby at 7 weeks. What a cute little bean.
