you go, girl

As some of you may know (and others may not), I had a wicked awesome assignment for one of my classes this past semester. For my "Instructional Technology and Media in the Classroom" class, I had to create a 4-5 minute video presentation for my final test/project. I was lucky enough to follow my cute cousin around and record her experience in her school's Inaugural/Homecoming week. Although this was a tedious project, it was worth it.  I owe many thanks to Husband and his little brother for the final edits. The video is great (and a tearjerker, beware). My entire class was bawling, including the teacher, and needless to say, I received 100% and was asked if my video could be used for future classes.

I have uploaded the video to YouTube, as MANY people have asked for a simple way to view and share it. So I thought I'd share it on here too.

  1. Marlena and crew,

Thank you so much for posting this touching moment in Savannah's life. This memory would be lost if you had not had the inspiration to record this for her and her family. Because this is now shared on You Tube, I am sure there will be someone (if not many) whose life will be changed for the better. Mine has!

Thank you again and my heart felt congratulations to Savannah and her school.
