alaska!

I spent a week on vacation with my sweet grandma in two beautiful states! I was a little sad about leaving my hubby behind while I went to discover new places, but he was such a trooper and took care of himself with a smile on his face while I took off. I know we will take this trip together someday.

Seattle was a fun city that was constantly buzzing from early morning to late evening. My absolute favorite thing in Seattle was an amazing bakery, Le Panier, located in the Pike Place Market. The bakery drew us in from off the street with the aroma of fresh bread and pastries. We stopped in for breakfast and loved it so much we went back for dessert that night (and bought breakfast for the next couple of mornings as well). We also went back after our cruise to pack our suitcases full of souvenir pastries for the whole family. I guess you could call us pastry-obsessed. What I'm trying to get at here is if you ever go to Seattle, make sure you stop by at Le Panier.

Alaska was one of the most beautiful places I have been. We had four main destinations in Alaska and all of it was stunning. Here are a few photos below but of course I have 245896 more to share once I go through them!
