dear marlena, i am pleased to inform you...

...that the Admissions Committee has approved you for admission to the Elementary Education program. This will prepare you to graduate in Elementary Education from Utah Valley University. Your professional classes will begin Spring Semester 2011.

Bam! So needless to say, I am pretty dang excited. After I received my acceptance letter, Husband and I talked about how we both honestly thought that I wouldn't get in this semester. Everything went so fast and we were so stressed I guess we didn't recognize the reality of it all. But we're both really happy,  and for once I am excited to start classes. I can't believe I'll be joining the proud people of Orem... I used to have so much fun making fun of Utah Valley inhabitants and now I'll be one.
On another happy note, I passed my Praxis exam! Phew. I am so glad that I'm done with filling out applications and studying and paying large sums of money. Now all I have on my plate is passing my classes this semester. No prob... I hope. :)

Mr. starts his new job at the Direct Sales Branch on Monday! We are really excited about that, and he is especially excited to have a more challenging and rewarding job (ca-ching!).

Things are looking quite lovely in our neck of the woods. Literally too.
