We sort of had this sweet pea fall right into our laps this past weekend. We found her with her six brothers and sisters on our way to family dinner on Sunday.
We picked her up on Monday night.
Tried to potty train her on Tuesday.
And had to give her away on Wednesday.
She had a bit too much Pit Bull in her blood and the apartment crew is strictly against "aggressive breeds". We could've put up a brutal fight but we wouldn't have won. So we searched for a new home. And we were successful. H&J were more than happy to adopt that cuter-than-life face.
So while I could pout, I'm really glad that we found an awesomesauce place for Mabel* to live forever. Now she has a yard and a puppy sister and a baby to yank on her ears. What more could a dog ask for?
*Mabel is the name H&J gave her. Because it is an "old lady" name to accompany Betty. How cute is that?
