schnauzer: german for moustache

english for our new best friend. early june we picked up the sweetest little schnauzer that ever was. she was just a wee thing, only weighing four pounds. she had really long eyelashes and big black puppy dog eyes and only liked to lay in the shade. for two days she didn't have a name.

we called her puppy and it was hard to imagine ever giving her a real name. but we came up with cleo. short for cleopatra. she is an akc registered all black miniature schnauzer.

today she weighs six and a half pounds. she has really long eyelashes and big black puppy dog eyes and likes to lay in the heat of the sunshine.

her best friend is mabel. her favorite toy is her rope. she loves food and eats 1/3 cup in about 32 seconds.
we love our baby schnauze. the cleo puppers.
