Welcome, baby.

I had so much fun putting this shower together for Chantelle. It was a lot of extra time and effort during my student teaching but I am so glad I did it. Something about planning a party and seeing that person excited about it just feels good. We had a really good turn out, everyone is so excited for Baby Potter. Now it's just a waiting game to meet this little man!

I decided to keep it neutral with black, white, and kelly green (Chantelle's favorite color) but then I thought it would be fun to add in some gold. Thubzz got a really cute diaper cake. For lunch we ate three delicious homemade soups, Caesar salad, and breadsticks. I setup a doughnut cake and made some yummy caramel chocolate dipped pretzels which were a hit. My favorite was the utensil/napkin wrap made into a bow tie.

I have to give huge thanks to my mom, my mother-in-law, my sister-in-law, and Thubzz who helped me with food and arrangements; you guys are so fabulous!
