Yep, the bean is a boy! We are so happy for Heather and Jason, and Steen is totally excited to be the uncle to "a little punk". Heather came to Utah a few weeks ago to visit family and hang out. I threw her a baby shower while she was here, it was so much fun! The theme was "Guess whooo's having a baby?" and owls were incorporated throughout the shower. When you arrived you got a plastic binki necklace to put on, and if you said the word cute or baby someone could steal your binki. The person at the end of the night with the most binkis got a prize. Of course I was the first one out. How can i go without saying cute? We had a yummy dinner - pasta bar with the choices of tomato, alfredo, and pesto sauces, salad and delicious Fazolis breadsticks! We played a few more games, Mommy quiz and The Candy Game. Then we opened presents and had dessert, cupcakes and JellyBellys. It was a great night, and it was so nice that everyone had a chance to visit with Heather while she was in town.
