Thursday night we picked Justin & Amelia up and drove to Snowbird to watch the Perseid meteor shower. I don't know about J&A (wink), but we saw about thirty meteors. I think we would have seen more and I would have been more apt to stay if I hadn't been freezing and laying on a massive rock. Also, I get a little freaked out about laying in sagebrush because of these (don't worry, we checked when we got home). Steen had never seen a meteor shower and seemed slightly disappointed because he was expecting something like a meteor downpour.
On Friday we went to the Salt Lake County Fair and watched the Demolition Derby with a bunch of friends. It was great, albeit a little small. And the funnel cake was de-lish.
