schools out, scream and shout

Well, for three weeks anyway. Then a semester with REAL classes starts, yikes! I finished my Dance group final today. We did a presentation on the Haka, and it ended up being really awesome. We had Chase from Island Heritage come and teach our class Ka Mate and it was so fun.

Speaking of school, can I just say I HATE dealing with financial aid? Here is a perfect example of why: I planned to go to the financial aid office before class but the line was ridiculously long so I decided to wait until after. So I have all my tax papers, w-2's, information forms, verification forms, pet adoption papers, etc. and I have been in line for about fifty minutes when I see a teeny tiny sign in light green print that says, "the financial aid office does not have a copy machine, please make all copies before meeting with someone in the financial aid office". Well, great. I have all these forms but the completion letter doesn't tell me which one of the tax forms you need and I only have one copy of our w-2's. You couldn't put that teeny tiny sign somewhere where I see it before I'm five people from going into the office? I asked the lady who was walking amongst students trying to "help" us before we waste our time in line for nothing. She told me which forms to copy and said there was NO WAY I could get my papers copied in the office. Luckily, there was a good guy behind me who saved my place while I booked it downstairs to make copies. I'm glad they willingly helped me when I got to the desk {which sometimes doesn't happen}.

But really? No copy machine in the office? And if that's so, put it in my completion letter or maybe post a sign towards the end of the line so I don't freak out at the last minute.

I can't wait for D4 of Shark Week: Shark Bites Adventures in Shark Week with Craig Ferguson is going to be great {plus no worrying about homework or waking up early}...and more summer thunderstorms.
