Yesterday as I made my much dreaded drive from Orem to Taylorsville, I heard on the radio that there were some gusty winds coming our way (blowing yet another snow storm into the valley). I walked out of my class around 3:30 and was nearly knocked off my feet by the wind! The drive home was nerve-wracking as semis swerved and cars shook from sudden intense gusts.
I wasn't feeling well once I arrived home (darn those pesky caffeine headaches!), so I decided to take a nap.
When I woke up, the power was out.
My first reaction was panic, of course, that I would not be able to do my homework.
And my second reaction, once I met up with my mom and sister, was PARTAY!
It was like an unplanned Girls Night Out. We lit a whole bunch of candles throughout the house, ordered Pizza Hut, and had a Bieber dance-off in the kitchen. And we had way too much fun... enough so that we turned the lights back off after they had flickered on.
I have never had so much fun. Oh wait...
Haha oh Marlena I love you! This is TOTALLY something me, my mom and sister would do too! Do you think we could fit JB Dance Party into the 6th grade curriculum somewhere...? :)We DO have a dance presentation coming up next week...I say bag the Renaissance and let's get the Bieber Fever going!
