I was just setting the trend... apparently the government is taking a hiatus too?
I've been STUDENT TEACHING! And let me tell you, it's been awesome. I have two more days and then it's back to {college} for finals.
First of all, I am partnered with just about the cutest girl ever. Like ever, ever. Be jealous. Thank goodness I got to spend every day with someone who is genuinely kind and a total fashionista. I'm glad to have made a friend while trying to figure out the teaching thing. Now go look at her blog and you can be jealous some more.
Second of all, I am in a sixth grade class that I thought would be an impossible feat and guess what? It ended up being fabulous!
Third of all, I am working with a teacher who really did teach me a lot. Some information I will carry with me throughout my teaching years and some I will most definitely abandon. But it was a really good learning experience.
Fourth of all, I fallen in love with my students.
Fifth of all, I learned more about the Constitution in the last month than I had in the combined previous 22 years and 6 months.
Sixth of all, I fallen in love with my students.
Seventh of all, I only had two situations that felt like leaves, and not a twig in sight.
Eighth of all, I realize how much I love teaching and how excited I am to be DONE with school and my hourly-job and to have a career where I can't wait to be "working".
