I know what you're thinking... Disneyland was not a girls trip and it did not involve all my best girlfriends. I started thinking about what a weekend with my best girlfriends would entail and started to hyperventilate because I'm not sure I can completely reach this goal (one in VA, one in HI, one who never answers her phone, etc.). So I settled by thinking I have already had so many fun times with most of my girlfriends and I now have to make a mental commitment to get with the other ones before I turn 26.
BUT. This was such an amazing trip and one that has been in the making for a whole (six-ish?) years so I have to blog about it and feel accomplished that it happened. Now I'm sad it happened and not happening so I think it's time to plan another friend trip (this time with the Hubbards too). RIGHT, GUYS?
BGOFFEdotheD. The Potters, Trent, Steen, and I did a three-day park hopper and one day of sight-seeing in Southern California. Disneyland was definitely the highlight - it had been about six years since I had gone and our first time together. Having Link and an odd number of friends with us made things especially fun because we were able to do rider swap on top of stacking fast-passes and ride over and over again (Steen totally took advantage of this I think he rode Space Mountain and Tower of Terror like... 20 times?)
We took way too many pictures combined but here are some of the highlights:
Halloween decorations everywhere
Haunted Mansion Holiday (plus the memories of that girl hahaha)
Cars Land. A+ for us getting a fast pass otherwise we wouldn't have gone on this awesome ride.
DOLE WHIPS.
The boys.
Matching shirt day hahaha.
what cute friends!!! looks like it was such a fun trip. i wish i was drinking a fruity umbrella drink in the sun right now :/
