As some of you know from this post, I have a budding hobby that has really turned into a love. My beautiful friend, Brittany, saw my blog post and asked if I would help by doing the chalkboards for her wedding reception. Her father-in-law-to-be was making food stands and she explained that she wanted me to design three signs which would be 2'x6' to top them, along with one 5'x8', and many other smaller boards. I was really excited to take this on because I had been wanting some practice... but then she told me what she had in mind and I almost ran away screaming (almost but didn't thank goodness). She brought them over and I started right away. I love chalkboarding so much that once I started I couldn't stop! I finished all of them in about a week and wanted more.
Seeing Brittany's excitement and the final product at the reception was such a thrilling feeling. I am happy that I was able to share my talent with her and I hope to share it with many more in days to come.
