day 12

Hola! Donde esta la biblioteca? Me llamo T-Bone la arana discoteca.
Enough with the Spanish...
Today is day 12 of the Belly Fat Cure Fast Track (14-day plan) and I think probably the hardest for me so far. Except for more maybe the first day. I don't know. It's a close tie.
I have Yogurt Creamies and cookie dough in my freezer, PB filled pretzels and Goldfish in my pantry, and a brain that can't seem to divert from chocolate. I think I had an especially hard time because I didn't have breakfast. By about 10:30 this morning I was nauseated and had a headache. I got home from school and took a two hour nap, then ate a lettuce-wrapped hamburger with Swiss cheese. I didn't have a second snack either because nothing but ice cream sounded good.
I cried because I was so sick of eating broccoli. I cried because I couldn't have a glass of milk. Then my husband came home and I cried because I felt like I couldn't eat one more thing that I have already had 2-3 times in the past week and a half. I looked through the recipes in my BFC book and found something appealing, which is now cooking in the oven (Lemon Chicken with zucchini, mushrooms, and broccoli). I also went to the grocery store and got some Silk Coconut Milk which satisfied my milk and sweet craving- soooo good! If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it. Tomorrow I am making a Green Chile Brunch Bake - also from BFC - for Conference breakfast (since we can't have Orange Rolls or Eggs Benedict or something else delicious and fattening), and I am really looking forward to that. I also got the ingredients to make Parmesan chips and Artichoke Dip. YUMMMM!
Tomorrow night is the bi-annual post Conference Donuts Party at Stephen's parents. Do you think I can make it over to hang out without eating a donut? UGH. I don't know! I will do my best.
Only two more days of the actual diet, but I am going to do my best to stick to the things I've learned these past two weeks. Even though it has been hard I have learned a lot and lost a lot. :) I really am glad that I have made some changes that I feel will be lifestyle changes.
